Timetable management: the end of the spreadsheet (and the scare)

Of all possible flaws in an office, the loss of time is the most expensive — it may cost the case, the client and ultimately the liability of the lawyer. And yet it's one of the most controlled in the improv.

The problem of the spreadsheet

The spreadsheet doesn't go wrong on its own, but it depends on who feeds it. She doesn't recalculate the deadline when the count changes, she doesn't tell anyone when the date approaches and she doesn't know if you've met. It's a passive record of something that needs to be active.

Time limits that are calculated and warned alone

Digital control reverses logic: instead of watching the deadline, the deadline watches you. In practice, this means:

• calculation from publication or subpoena, with the correct count;
• Automatic reminders in advance configurable, for the right responsible;
• Team vision — no one depends on the memory of one person.

The gain is not only productivity; it is peaceful sleep. When the system ensures alertness, the deadline ceases to be a source of anxiety and becomes just another controlled stage of work.
